Our facility participates in recognized social, labor, and environmental assessment programs, including the Social & Labor Convergence Program (SLCP) and the Higg Facility Environmental Module (FEM).

 

SLCP – Social & Labor Convergence Program. Our participation in the SLCP assessment and verification process provides customers with greater transparency into the social and labor practices within our facility. SLCP uses a standardized assessment framework to evaluate workplace conditions and employment practices, including areas such as working hours, wages and benefits, health and safety, worker treatment, management systems, and other responsible workplace practices.

 

For our customers, this means greater visibility and confidence when evaluating Blue Ridge Designs as part of their responsible sourcing and supply-chain compliance programs.

 

Higg FEM – Facility Environmental Module. The Higg Facility Environmental Module (FEM) is a recognized environmental assessment tool designed to measure and evaluate a facility's environmental management and performance. The assessment addresses key areas such as energy use, greenhouse gas emissions, water use, wastewater, waste management, air emissions, and chemical management.

 

Participation in FEM helps us identify opportunities to improve environmental performance, strengthen our management systems, monitor progress, and support the sustainability expectations of the brands and businesses we serve.
